Perched high in the hills, the project began with a clear vision from the homeowner. We then merged her love for soft vintage charm with a clean, modern mountain aesthetic.

The result is a Modern Cottage Design, cozy, layered style that blends old and new with purpose.

To soften the sharp lines often found in new builds, we focused on curved furniture, rich wood tones, and oversized wallpaper prints that add scale without overwhelming the space. Warm jewel tones provided a subtle thread of color, grounding each room in comfort. Every selection—from finishes to furnishings—was chosen to invite guests in, not impress from a distance.

This project is a reminder that custom doesn’t have to mean cold. With the right collaboration and a clear aesthetic, it’s possible to create a new build that feels rooted from day one.
